List of free college-level courses offered by well-know colleges and universities. Most of these courses - often called OpenCourseWare (OCW) - are not awarded academic credit. Course materials can be accessed at any time, no grades are involved and the coursework is self-directed. While the courses are free, students may need to purchase textbooks or download software in order to get the most out of the courses.

Saylor.org is a free and open collection of college level courses. There are no registrations or fees required to take our courses, and you will earn a certificate upon completion of each course. Because we are not accredited, you will not earn a college degree or diploma; however, our team of experienced college professors has designed each course so you will be able to achieve the same learning objectives as students enrolled in traditional colleges.
TED
Riveting talks by remarkable people, free to the world. TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. On TED.com, they make the best talks and performances from TED and partners available to the world, for free. More than 1400 TED Talks are now available, with more added each week.
University of Reddit
The University of Reddit is the product of free intellectualism and is a haven for the sharing of knowledge. Teachers and students are free to explore any subject that interests them. Course offerings free, varied, and easily accessible. Teachers are given complete freedom in planning their curricula and how they want to carry out their class.
