Winter Book Sale and Events

Join us for Robey Memorial Library Foundation's Winter Book Sale & Partner Events

Robey Memorial Library Foundation will be having a Winter Book Sale on Friday, December 4th from 10 am-6 pm and Saturday, December 5th from 10 am-4 pm.

Beside this special winter sale, the Foundation has monthly a monthly book sale on the third Thursday from 2-6 pm.

Proceeds from the book sale go the Robey Memorial Library Foundation.  The Foundation is currently raising funds to purchase a children’s iPad station and a wireless barcode scanner.

Robey Memorial Library will be hosting partner events in the lower level Community Room during the winter book sale.  Passive activities will be offered on Friday, December 4th from 10 am-4 pm, including: adult coloring pages, table games, and make & takes. On Saturday, December 5th, RML will be hosting the family movie Miracle from 1-3:30 pm.  The sports drama Miracle is based on the true story of the 1980 Winter Olympics at Lake Placid. Kurt Russell stars as hockey coach Herb Brooks, who assembles a U.S. team of underdogs. No one thinks they can make it, as they are up against the previously undefeated Soviet hockey team. Viewers are encouraged to bring their own movie snacks.  Children under 10 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
