New Teen Reading Challenge!

52 Week Read challenges community teens to read more.

The Robey Memorial Library Teen Advisory Board is challenging Allamakee County teens to read!

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is partnering with the Robey Memorial Library Foundation to provide great incentives for teens grades 7th through 12th to read this year!

Teens can participate in the 52-Week Read:

  1. Read! Read for school, read for fun, read to challenge, read to learn or read to relax! Anything you read counts!
  2. Track your time! Use our reading log (or your own) to track your minutes daily, weekly, monthly.... Submit your minutes at the end of the month via reading log or website (www.waukon.lib.ia.us/teens). Library staff will track your total minutes for the year!
  3. Rewards! All participants have the opportunity to win! Read 10,800 minutes (180 hours) & earn a book of choice. Read 7,000 minutes (117 hours) & earn a gift certificate to WW Homestead Dairy.

Note: Participant who reads the most minutes has the opportunity to win all three prizes depending upon the number of minutes read. Participants who read 10,800 minutes earn a book & a gift certificate!

Please contact Robey Memorial Library at (563) 568-4424 or www.waukon.lib.ia.us/teens with questions.
