International Games Day@Your Library brings community together to read, learn and play

Robey Memorial Library will join over a thousand libraries around the world during International Games Week as they transform their libraries with play. Like many other libraries across the country and around the world, Robey Memorial Library will offer special gaming programs and events suitable for the whole family. 

RML is hosting a Table Game event on Saturday, November 9 from 10am-4pm.  Stop anytime throughout the day and stay as long as you’d like! Three games will be featured for instruction: Phase 10 Twist, Settlers of Catan, and Forbidden Desert. Other games available to play include: Apples to Apples; Backgammon; Boss Monster; Candyland; Chess; Connect Four; Dixit; Elephant’s Trunk; Exploding Kittens; Gloom; Go; Gotcha!; Jenga; Monopoly: Electronic Banking; Number Chase; The Oregon Trail: Card Game; Pandemic; Phase 10 Twist; Qwirkle; Seismic; Settlers of Catan; Takenoko; Yeti, Set, Go!; Zombie Dice; and more! Players can register for door prizes to be distributed throughout the day. Participants are also welcome to bring their own snacks!

International Games Week is an international initiative supported by the American Library Association, the Australian Library and Information Association, Nordic Game Week, Finnish Game Week and L’Associazione Italiana Biblioteche.
