Reading Challenge: Childrens Spot H
  • ​Register.
  • Read books within your reading level. (Exceptions are when reading to a younger child.)
  • Count your minutes read in 15 minute increments.
  • Mark off minutes read on the Time Log. Each symbol = 15 minutes. Each symbol group = 1 hour.
  • Turn in your Time Log weekly at the Front Desk. Add your minutes to the library bulletin board. Receive prizes for weekly participation.
  • Add your name to a special drawing for four Experience Prizes given away at the end of the Reading Challenge. Your name can be added for each week of participation and again for each 5 hours read.
  • Enjoy your summer reading at RML!

    • All children with library cards may check out iPads with PBS Kids & ABCmouse.com games. iPads are provided by the Ready for School iniative of IPTV. (iPads have a locked internet connection and must be used in the library.)
