The Adopt-a-Book Program is an exciting way to share your interests and love of reading with the community. By making a tax-deductible contribution to Robey Memorial Library you can help us purchase materials we may not otherwise be able to obtain. Each month, hundreds of worthwhile titles of interest to the community are published. Due to inflation and the sheer abundance of quality books, Robey Memorial Library is able to acquire only a small portion of these. Adopt-a-Book is not just for books either. Robey Memorial Library collects audio books, CD's & DVD's as well as subscribing to 89 magazines and 8 newspapers (all of which are available for "adoption").

Here's how it works. There are three options for adopting a book or other material:Adopt a Book Button

  1. Select a subject (fiction, history, etc.) and/or medium (book, audio book, large print, etc.) and contribute.
  2. Suggest a title (the title must fit our Selection Policy) and contribute.

Donors will have the option of having a handsome gift plate placed in the book. Donors may honor and/or memorialize the person of their choice.

All contributions should be sent to Robey Memorial Library, 401 1st Ave NW, Waukon, IA 52172 or dropped off at the Front Desk.
