2017 trw

Robey Memorial Library celebrates Teen Read Week (October 8-14, 2017) with special events and programs aimed at encouraging teens around the area to read for the fun of it.

Teen Read Week is a time to celebrate reading for fun while encouraging teens to take advantage of reading in all its forms —books, magazines, e-books, audiobooks and more! It is also a great opportunity to encourage teens to become regular library users.

Visit RML this week to:

  • Complete a book scavenger hunt for a fun prize!
  • READ a BOOK | EARN a BOOK: share a book you've read this week -- earn a free book!
  • Generate your Fantasy Character name!
  • Vote for the 2017 Teen Top Ten books!

Teen Read Week

Escape Room

through October 14th

What is it?

An escape room is an IRL adventure game where individuals and/or teams solve a series of puzzles to unlock the mysteries within a room.  Teams are given a set time limit to complete objectives to "escape-the-room."

RML will have up to six sessions available during the week of October 8-14:

Monday, October 9 at 4:30pm & 6pm

Tuesday, October 10 at 4:30pm & 6pm

Thursday, October 12 at 4:30pm & 6pm

What do you do?

  • Sign up using the form link below or at the RML desk.
  • Create your own group of up to 4 team members or sign up individually.
  • Please be at the RML desk 15 minutes prior to your session. This will allow for instructions to be communicated and questions to be answered.

NOTE: The escape room is limited to our teen patrons at this time: grades 7-12.
