RML invites teens in grades 7 to 12 to Teen Summer Book Club and Classic Book Club for Teens and 4th through 6th graders (completed) to Passport to Reading in June, July and August.

Teen Summer Book Club meets on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30am on June 12; July 10; and August 7. Join us monthly for a great book discussion. June’s book selection is Above all else by Dana Allison Levy; July’s book selection is Undefeated by Steve Sheinkin; and August’s book discussion is The Rosewood hunt by Makenzie Reed.

First five registrants for each discussion receive a free copy of the book to keep—courtesy of the Robey Memorial Library Foundation. Additional copies will be available at RML.

Classic Book Club for Teens meets on Mondays from 5:30-6:30pm on June 10; July 8; and August 12. Classic Book Club for teens will be reading and discussing the classic titles The outsiders by S.E. Hinton in June; The grapes of wrath by John Steinbeck in July; and Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson in August.

Passport to Reading is offered to 4th through 6th grades completed.  Come join us for some reading fun! Read the book of your choice from the selected topic & join us for discussion and activities. Monthly topics include: June-science related title; July-art related title; and August-school related title.
