Robey Memorial Library is excited to offer a variety of engaging programs for children and families through its Summer Explorers series this June and July. These hands-on events take place on selected Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 am in the Community Room.

Upcoming Summer Explorers Programs:

    June 11 – Cardboard Construction

Dive into creativity with cardboard building challenges and imaginative play.

    June 25 – The Magic of Dr. Seuss

Broadway and film actor Duffy Hudson brings beloved Dr. Seuss stories to life in a fast-paced performance filled with fun, excitement, and magical surprises. Enjoy classic tales including:

§  And to Think I Saw It on Mulberry Street

§  The Sneeches

§  The Zax

§  The Big Brag

§  What Was I Scared Of?

This lively and heartwarming show is sure to entertain audiences of all ages.

    July 9 – Surviving the Dust Bowl

Learn about life during the Dust Bowl with an interactive game and activity presented by Sara Berges, Soil Conservationist with the USDA.

    July 23 – Life-Size Games

Get moving and have fun with giant versions of family favorites like Candy Land, Checkers, Bubbles, and Sidewalk Chalk.
