As part of the longest-running national celebration of books for young people and the joy of reading, over 1,300 schools, libraries, and bookstores in all 50 states will celebrate Children’s Book Week from May 4– May 8 with the theme, Books: Get Curious. Robey Memorial Library plans a week full of fun with the following activities:


Adopt a Zoo Animal Pajama Party: Monday, May 4th 5:30-7:00pm – Listen to stories and participate in the Adopt a Zoo Animal activities, then take your stuffed animal home to love. Be sure to wear your PJs!

Snuggle Story Time: Thursday, May 7th 5:30-6:00pm – Stories and activity.

Ice Cream Party w/ the Dairy Princess and Rock Painting Friday, May 8th 4:00–5:30pm – Stop in for an ice cream treat served by the Dairy Princess and a rock painting activity! All ages are welcome. Supplies provided by the library.
