Families interested in learning more about homeschooling are invited to attend Homeschooling 101 at Robey Memorial Library on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 5:00 pm.

This free informational session is an opportunity for parents and caregivers to explore home education as an option for their children. The presentation will be led by Chelsea, the Region 3 Homeschool Iowa Regional Representative, who will discuss the basics of Iowa's homeschooling laws, including the different homeschooling options available, state requirements, and resources to help families get started. The session will explain Iowa's homeschool pathways in easy-to-understand terms and help parents choose the option that best fits their family's needs.

Whether you are considering homeschooling for the first time, planning a future transition, or simply want to understand your educational options, this session will provide practical information and an opportunity to have your questions answered.

The program is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
