As part of its Live & Learn: enriching lives through monthly learning series, Robey Memorial Library (RML) invites community members to attend Smartphone (& Tablet) Basics for iPhone and Android on Thursday, May 28 at 5:30 p.m. in the library’s lower level Community Room.

This informative session is designed to help participants feel more confident using their smartphones and tablets, whether they are new to the technology or simply looking to brush up on the basics.

Attendees will learn common terminology and gestures, navigation basics, how to access and change essential features, and how to print using the library’s wireless printing service. The program will also include time for questions and answers, giving participants the opportunity to get help with their specific device concerns.

“Technology can feel overwhelming, but this program is designed to make smartphones and tablets more approachable and useful in everyday life,” Chris Kerndt, Adult Programming Librarian shared. “We want patrons to leave feeling more comfortable and confident using their devices.”

Registration is encouraged but not required. To reserve a spot, contact the Front Desk at Robey Memorial Library by calling (563) 568-4424 or register at the link below.
