Robey Memorial Library (RML) is preparing to update the authentication process for library accounts used to access BRIDGES and Libby. These changes are intended to provide a more secure and accurate method of verifying library accounts and ensuring continued access to digital resources.

Beginning November 2, Libby users will be required to enter both their library card number and library card password to access digital materials. To help prepare for this transition and avoid potential disruptions to borrowing privileges, RML encourages patrons to take the following steps:

1. Make sure your library account is current.
Patrons must have physically checked out an item or contacted the library to renew their account within the past three years. If you have not done so, please contact RML to ensure your account remains active.

2. Verify your address information.
Make sure the address on your library account is correct and up to date. Incorrect address information may result in a disruption to your borrowing privileges.

3. Ensure your account is in good standing.
All long-overdue items must be returned, and any outstanding fines exceeding $25.00 must be paid.

4. Confirm your residency eligibility.
RML's contract with the state requires the library to restrict access to BRIDGES and Libby to residents of Allamakee County and the City of Waukon. Please make sure your account information accurately reflects your residency.
