RML is preparing to modify the authentication process for library accounts for use in BRIDGES & Libby. This will make access more secure and accurate.

What you should do to prepare:

  1. Make sure your library account is current. This means you have physically checked out an item OR contacted the library to renew your library account within the past 3 years.
  2. Make sure your address information is correct. Incorrect address information may cause a disruption in your borrowing privileges.

Not sure? Here are some first steps:

  • Login to your library account
    • www.waukon.lib.ia.us
    • Click on the Catalog link
    • Click Login OR Status
    • Enter your Username = Library card number
    • Enter your Password = your Last name (unless you have manually changed this)
    • Click on Status
      • Check to make sure contact info is correct
      • Check to make sure account hasn’t expired
