Story Time
RML is thrilled to invite children and families to join us Tuesday mornings for Story Time, a beloved community event featuring stories, activities, and fun for all ages. Held weekly from 10:30 to 11:00 am, Story Time promises engaging experiences that spark imagination and foster a love for reading.
In addition to our regular sessions, we are excited to collaborate monthly with the Allamakee County Conservation Board (ACCB). On the second Tuesday of each month, a naturalist from ACCB will lead Story Time, offering captivating stories and hands-on activities focused on local wildlife and natural wonders. This unique opportunity allows children to learn while having fun in a supportive and educational environment.
"Our Story Time sessions are designed to be both entertaining and educational," says Ellie Krousie, Children’s Librarian at Robey Memorial Library. "It's a wonderful way for families to connect, explore new topics, and enjoy quality time together."
Past sessions have covered a wide range of themes including snakes, frogs, animals of Allamakee County, turtles, river otters, snow, and camping. Each session is crafted to captivate young minds and encourage curiosity about the world around us.
All children and families are encouraged to attend Story Time at RML. For more information, please contact the library at 563-568-4424 or email robeymemorial@waukon.lib.ia.us.
